* Piston Porting: advanced piston porting design allows precision shock absorber tuning effecting accurate shim stack configuration.

* Bore Size: The larger the bore and piston diameter the higher the control levels because of the larger piston displacement and pressure area. The DMS range of shock absorbers have one of the largest bore and piston diameters available. This allows higher damping capabilities which are necessary in severe race or rally competition.

* DMS oil: maintains specified viscosity in the most demanding conditions, giving the user guaranteed reputability, excellent recovery and stability through a wide temperature range, seal life is extended by the reduced operating temperatures.

* Seals and o rings: designed to maintain performance integrity in the most severe temperatures again giving optimum performance under any condition.

* Shim stack design: gives the confidence of repeatability for traction and grip in the most competitive conditions, fade is eliminated as a major factor in the suspensions performance and the incidence of chassis fatigue is minimised.

* Cylinder bore: mirror smooth bore harnesses the kinetics of friction enabling the energy to be transferred to performance and at the same time ensuring piston ring longevity.

* Cylinder shaft: robust construction reduces the incidence of abrasion and galling under torsional and side load, extremely resistant to harsh operating conditions of the environment and contributes to the accuracy of tuning, by ensuring the maximum travel of the extended shaft- heat is transferred to atmosphere in every cycle.

* Shell case: less weight to yield strength due to the utilisation of chrome molybdenum in material composition, also contributing to the thermal displacement by minimising wall thickness while maximising strength.

* Piston ring: aids in the accurate tuning and contributes to the predicability of suspension performance, reduces incidence of stress related failure to elastomer contact area, ensuring maximum surface area contact at all times.

The incidence of duty sag is eliminated, unique to this product is the ability to achieve extended travel length without increasing the spring entrapment, direct benefit is achieved in weight reduction, improved performance, ease of tuning, vehicle stability and ride comfort.

* Bump rubber: in the event of full travel occurring the final impact is contained to the high performance of the specially formulated polymers.

* Testing: when you purchase a DMS product you are assured of a quality product that is the result of many years of research and development, you can also be confident of the performance of the DMS product because we test every shock absorber before we ship it!

* Adjustment: there are 4 settings of rebound and 20 of bump; adjustable bump and rebound damping are separate. The adjustments are through one shaft, allowing ease of adjustment independently on the DMS50mm and DMS60mm. The DMS40mm has 30 positions of adjustment for both bump and rebound adjusted together.

* Fitting: all DMS products are direct replacement parts fitted without modification to original equipment (ie. to standard vehicle mounting points).
