Irish duo Charlie Drake and Eoin Moynihan will contest this weekend's Rally Tasmania, round one of the Australian Rally Championship, in their RallySchool.com.au-sponsored Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 3.

After an accident in last year's Batemans Bay Rally, the car has undergone major repairs, and it was a last minute decision to enter the season opener.  The team at Dashsport Racing and Performance have been instrumental in getting the car ready for this weekend's event.

Drake and Moynihan will contest the Premier League component of the Australian Rally Championship and are hoping for a strong showing on the fast flowing tarmac stages.

Rally Tasmania gets under way this afternoon (Friday, February 26) with three stages followed by a further 16 stages on Saturday and Sunday.
