To commemorate the five year anniversary of ‘Possum’ Bourne’s tragic passing, New Zealand's Club Sub are organising a meet and drive to Possum’s favorite play ground, the venue of The Race to the Sky, which tragically took his life five years ago. The charity run, to be held on Saturday, April 26, will start in Dunedin, the city where Possum spent his last days, and travel through to Cardrona Valley, the location of Race to the Sky event. Bourne was tragically killed after a head-on collision whilst he was doing 'recce' for the event in 2003. His death was deeply felt by rally competitors and fans the world over, particularly in his native New Zealand and Australia, where he had dominated the Australian Rally Championship, winning seven titles in a row. All money raised up to and during the event will be donated to the charity of Possum's wife, Peggy Bourne’s, choosing. Possum & Mark Stacey in action
